Reflections 9.7.22

Whenever something significant happens on a date (Ex. June 29th,) it is hard to imagine that life is able to move on.

That the specific date something happened on, is forever known to you as ‘the date you just want to make it through.’

I recently chatted with family and when I asked someone close to me when a new endeavor was beginning- I froze for a second. It was the ‘date we shall not speak of.’

Upon reflecting some about that date, I have realized that life has a sense of humor.

In addition to this good news from a family member, I too have my share of that date with what I would consider life events.

It’s funny how that works out. In retrospect, it serves as a reminder that something bad happened on that date- yet- here we are celebrating positive life wins.

A reminder that even though at one point- I felt pain for that date- but I can now feel grateful for it as well.

In addition to dates, I have another one coming up in my life that is a first milestone for me.

A milestone to show me that when I am authentically myself, good things can and will happen.

Of course, it will not be a journey without unexpected hiccups. Even through hiccups and unexpected pop-ins from the least expected- making it to a year is a milestone and one that will be celebrated for years to come.

Am I being vague enough for you? But truly, reflect. Alike to the changing seasons, reflect on the evolution within your own life.
